Oh, and I will say.the final 15 minutes is more interesting and this film should've been about some secret society with just those people, the main bad guy was pretty neat. The acting isn't awful, the film QUALITY is A+. You can see the marks on her head, although not much of em. To those saying the acid cameras would leave marks, they did. I guess the camera stayed in focus, so a star for that I guess. First and foremost, it fails to be even the slightest bit entertaining.

I can forgive a lot of terrible things in a movie if they have some good, gory and entertaining kills. There arent even any good kills to keep this movie enjoyable or worth watching. It's the typical paint-by-numbers for movies like these. The script is contrived and offers nothing in the way of story or character development.
If you're going to have a gimmick at least use it! Furthermore, when the camera is removed from the winner there should be a massive scar left from the giant hole that would have been made to insert the camera and yet none exists. But they only show about two shots in the whole film that are supposedly from those cameras. It didn't even look remotely like a camera lens, and it definitely didn't appear to actually be in their head, meerly pasted to it, and 2) if they had actually used that gimmick to steer the direction in a new direction. The concept of the cameras in their head could have /maybe/ been cool it 1) the makeup effects were any good. The set up and plot is something you have seen before, but this is probably the worst iteration of it I have ever come across. There is almost nothing to like in this movie. The Good: Very clever twists Great concept The Bad: Don't know how I feel about the ending Distinctly average for the most part Things I Learnt From This Movie: Having a lense attached to your head comple with vial of acid will leave no scarring or marks of any sort
Headgame is a watchable effort for fans of the subgenre but is just above average compared to others. The likelihood of a Headgame 2 is pretty damn remote and that's a shame as this being a single standalone movie it simply isn't meeting its potential. You see I'm not sure if I like it, I think that because of the concept (Which is actually quite good) this really needs to become a franchise.
Then we have the finale which is multi-tiered and it's a real mixed bag. Trouble is I think the "Hell" occurs too fast and it's all rather uninventive.
So you know the drill, all hell breaks loose. They are told that only one can survive and that the exit will not open until there is only one survivor. If they tamper with it they will get shocked, if they remove it the vial of acid set within will kill them. It tells the story of a group who wake up with camera's attached their foreheads.

Where you have a series of people who wake up and are forced to play a deadly game (Such as SAW, Cube, Circle and The Human Race) Upon realising that's what this is I became rather excited. Headgame is one of those horror movies that falls into the sub genre I adore.
